About Us

Houston County Council on Aging/Meals on Wheels is a non-profit organization incorporated in the fall of 1977 to provide programs and services to the elderly of Houston County.

Friendly Visits

We have over 50 volunteers that deliver the meals and provide friendly visits. We work closely with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program in Middle Georgia.

Our Staff

We currently have 1 full time staff member (Executive Director) and 5 part time staff members.

Governing Board

The Board is made up of concerned citizens throughout the county. These persons serve on the board on a voluntary basis and receive no compensation for their work.
